Sexuality & Intimacy
Build connection, pleasure, and self-trust — without shame or pressure
Sex and intimacy are deeply human experiences; sources of joy, meaning, and vulnerability. But when things feel off, they can quickly become sources of frustration, shame, or disconnection.
You might be questioning desire, struggling to stay present during intimacy, or wondering why closeness feels distant or stressful.Sex may have become something you avoid, overthink, or chase to fill an emptiness that never seems satisfied.
Whatever your story, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I help people of all genders, orientations, and relationship structures explore sexuality and intimacy in ways that feel authentic, grounded, and safe.

These struggles are common — and they are treatable.
Therapy provides space to unpack what’s happening, reduce shame, and rebuild confidence, connection, and pleasure.
What Contributes to Sexual Difficulties
Sexual challenges rarely have a single cause.
They’re often a reflection of what’s happening across mind, body, and relationships.
Common factors include:
Performance pressure or fear of judgment
Stress, burnout, or anxiety
Relationship tension or emotional distance
Depression or low self-esteem
Shame, trauma, or past negative experiences
Medical or hormonal issues
Medication side effects
Overreliance on fantasy or porn
Cultural, religious, or family conditioning around sex
Therapy helps you identify which factors apply to your situation; and develop a clear, evidence-based path toward change.
How Sex Therapy Helps
Sex therapy combines open, nonjudgmental conversation with psychological insight, education, and behavioral strategies.
Together, we’ll:
Understand what’s happening.
Identify physical, emotional, and relational contributors in a safe, shame-free environment.
Reduce anxiety and pressure.
Learn tools to calm performance-related stress and focus on connection rather than outcome.
Rebuild confidence and pleasure.
Use step-by-step exercises to help your body and mind work together again.
Improve communication.
Practice language for expressing needs, boundaries, and desires clearly and kindly.
Explore authenticity and identity.
Clarify what healthy, fulfilling sexuality looks like for you — not what you’ve been told it should be.
Each session offers something practical: insight, awareness, and a concrete next step to bring into real life.
My Approach
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrative sex therapy, and body-based awareness practices.
That means we don’t focus on “fixing” you; we focus on understanding you.
You’ll learn how to work with your thoughts and sensations rather than against them, reconnecting with your values and capacity for intimacy.
My training as a Licensed Psychologist, AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist allows me to see the whole picture: how mood, stress, body image, and sexuality interact.
